The Deep Vibration is a band out of Nashville. The lead singer and creator of the band, Matt Campbell was a student of mine at Belmont. The band is deeply influenced by The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Elvis Costello, Tom Waits, The Band, The Velvet Underground, The Byrds, The Kinks, The Clash, The Ramones, Phil Spector, Stax Records, Townes Van Zandt, Flying Burrito Brothers, & Hank Williams. You can definitely hear the Neil Young in there and they remind me of early angry Ryan Adams. Hope you enjoy!

i like it. they do remind me of ryan adams. but that's a good thing.
bob, did you put that "deeply influenced by" list together yourself? it had the ring of publicist to it...
also, i don't know if i've been blind, but if imeem isn't playing the full song, select the link directly under the band name that says "play full song here." it will take you to imeem's site.
hmm interesting. The influences were put together by the band... not me. I don't know what the deal with the song thing is.
it will play the full song... what is the problem?
