not to post over bens' latest mix, but i've beed inspired.
for your listening pleasure: a good man is hard to find. it started out with some slower songs that i really liked and morphed into basically a list of a lot of music that shuffles through my most played list.
also, i'm not really good at saying 'no'--consider this a two-disc set.
but again, similar to ben--this mix is probably more for myself. i hope you enjoy.
you can download the tracks here, with cover art and the .m3u list as well.

Yes! I love me a good mix (obviously), but especially one from someone else. I don't get those all too often.
I love the artwork, too. I don't have photoshop or illustrator, so I've done all mine in paintbrush. Haha.
Anyway, thanks Jason.
Awesome. I'm excited to hear the Roky Erickson and Okk River songs. Have you seen the documentary on Roky? Definitely worth a Netflix if you haven't. He's an interesting guy.
Honestly I'm pretty disappointed in the latest OR album, but I do like Piratess... a good choice here.
Oh and what do you think of the new Antlers?? There are a few songs I'm CRAZY about, and a few I haven't got in to yet. "Parentheses" is ridiculous. By far my favorite.
yeah, enjoy the roky erikson stuff. it's a good listen.
i mostly agree with you on the new okkervil river album. it's just not standing up to their past two albums. then again, it's alway difficult to come back from a two-disc concept set, i guess. that said, it's starting to get better a few listens in, so stay with it.
somehow, i totally missed out on the new antlers. just pulled it down from emusic. i really love these guys. thanks for the tip.
I’m only just now getting around to enjoying this mix. (I’m loving all of these mixes that people are putting on here and breathing some life back into Thom’s Dead Eye.) That Destroyer song made me happy… I’m definitely a big New Pornographer’s fan and yet (for some reason) I’ve never bought any of Destroyer’s stuff (even though whenever I hear some of their stuff I always love it)… that song that you put on here was just that good, chill side of Dan Bejar’s voice, which is SO good. Also, sticking on the same basic topic (and another song that I don’t have) is the Neko Case song… I only have the “Fox Confessor” album, and I definitely loved her song that you put on here… I know it’s been said before, but WOW, I love her voice. Also, I know nothing about The War On Drugs (by that I mean, I know nothing about the BAND The War On Drugs… I still “Just Say No”), but I was really liking everything I was hearing by them. Good stuff. Thanks for sharing the tunes.
